Instead of going for Cruisers, Navy should build more destroyers. Chinese Navy will use there cruisers as escorts for their carriers. Kolkata and Vishakapatnam destroyers are just replacement of old destroyers.

And we will use these for blockades , countering chinese warships , a good export product to middle east , middle east will be interested in navy , in 5 years or so .

Will be useful to put all those tech we have developed , there won't be much space restrictions , once optimization and miniaturized these can go back in earlier model , like vizag and Kolkata .

We need to change our propulsion tech with new design , changing vizag for electrical propulsion can be a tein project , when scenario changes , we are more strong economy could mass manufacture vizag advanced class just like type 52d

I mean not typical battlecruiser but a entry level one , there is no boundaries between Battle cruiser and destroyer , sejong class is a destroyer has almost equal capability of type 55

But our ones is heavy as a light battle cruiser and most certainly will be a cruiser if armed with railguns, DEWs and so many missile slots.

Ya'll Nibbiars Still have System Crash. Even in 2017 @Bleh Nibba said 11,000 Tonne's and you are going in the reverse. Check your Gear it's in the Reverse Mode.

I don't get it why south Korean have packed so much weapons in sejong , they are like barrier for any missile attack , their sam system and vls is whooping , they are in some.serious mood

Ya'll Nibbiars even the Type 55 class Destroyers has 112 Missile VLS. Then the Sejong is the only ship that has more VLS than the PLAN Cruiser and the weight difference is only about 1,000 Tonnes not that much.

But what are they building is some serious shit , it got sm 3 , harpoon enough to defend themselves , but looking at the weight and number of vls ,it is packed to rim

Ya'lll Nibbiars Well even some one said 9,000 Tonnea fully loaded. The most of the news is for 11,000 to 13,500 Tonnes.
