The reports from France seems great, they are ecstatic at the win... they have been at the recieving end for some time with Rafale, beating EFT will be a big ego boost and a good oppertunity for us to ask for more goodies.. USA has most advanced weapons no doubt...

When it fits Indian necessacity , we ll buy..like a dozen jumbo transport aircraft built in less than 2 years(offrd in 1 year) with reverse thrusters which can land in short runways.. no other country can do it, so India bought it ,.. with minimum strings attached even forgoing advaced comm equipments.

but when we have options we ll choose which suits us best.

What! do you guys just blurt out stuff because it comes to your mind immediately? what does the current tender won by dassault have to do with my conversation of offering the F35 on the additional 80 ( to come) tender?

secondly, F35 was not offered previously because it was not offered to anyone back in what was it 2003-4? when you process started?

Nobody had signed any contract and there was no aircraft to evaluate . Did you want us to send you a paper aircraft to evaluate?
