too much blah blah it is as basic as this formula or in few words destructive interference, you try to boast but you forget the essentials trying to boast

In the case of Spectra we are not specially speaking of jamming (it is able to), but of disturbance, or decepticon.
The return signal to the radar is not clean enough to elaborate a strong fire solution, and not hard enough to alert the radar IA or the pilot... and during this time Rafale can move away or fire itself.

I prefer the word deception. Jamming for me is more loud signal to blind the opponent. But I'm not a specialist.
What you are describing is specifically noise jamming. There were many different types of jamming radars since World War II, and many did not rely on overpowering radar with noise. Chaff simply blinded radar by creating random reflections, then you have range gate pull-off jamming, and so on.

From Finland with love :

What about SPECTRA? Can you fly safely in the forbidden airspace?

Former Rafale pilot Joseph Barraco answers:
We have proof of that. We have faced the most difficult defences, such as the Russian S-300. The latest MACE (Multidomain Airborne Cyber and Electronic warfare) exercise included the Rafale, Typhoon, Hornet, Growler and Gripen.

The Finnish Exercise Manager said at the press briefing that the Rafale was the best of the exercise. It is not just SPECTRA, but many capabilities. The SPECTRA is part of the Survivability Capability, as are the two engines and the AGCAS. The problem is that we cannot talk about SPECTRA. It is difficult to explain the power of the system. But it has a status that everybody knows.

I have worked with Growlers, which are pretty much the same but different. We did the same mission, but in a different way. We deal with the whole spectrum of targeting. SPECTRA is part of sensor fusion and is designed for passive targeting. It is part of the stealth aircraft detection system. It does targeting, jamming, protection and information sharing.

One of the characteristics of the system is its adaptability. If you are stealthy, you always use the same tactics, because it only protects you in one way. Stealth is a geometric feature. It's not 360 degrees, so it's predictable. If the radars are operating on a different frequency or in a different direction, they will detect you. The Rafale can operate with great flexibility and use different systems and tactics," says Barraco.

This is why aesa is aesa and pesa is pesa ..
Rafael jammed ibris e pesa radar of su35 ..

As per ISPR propaganda JF17 defeated Rafale. Reality JF17 radars got jammed and is not able to cope with single Rafale's prescience.

MIG 21 in the hands of Egypt failed miserably, the same MIG 21 in the hands of IAF became known for slaying Sabre F-86 and F 104. Man behind it makes the difference.

that was a BS propaganda. The news site that ran it runs by the name of 'InShort' similar to the popular Indian platform 'InShorts'. Goatfuckers are learning a thing or two from their Chinese Abbus.

Technology a big factor in new age of bvr engagement .. mig21 surprised f16 because of mountain . f16 cld nt notice it on time . in normal circumstances f16 with better bvr missile ll win most of the time against mig21 ... Same ll happen if su30 mki will face j10c which has significantly less rcs , dual motor missile and aesa radar . And wrong to assume our pilot ll be always better .. Thats why su30 upgrade and more rafale critical need of IAF right now .

J10 C also has the same engine issues just like JF17.

Even in BVR, human factor is decisive. I remember reading about CroAF - USN exercises back in 1996. Suffice to say, MiG-21s trounced F-18s. Couldn't find the original article, though.

But MiG-21 is a very good aircraft, even today. It is small, has relatively small RCS, and if properly upgraded can hold its own against most modern fighters. Of course, it will be at a disadvantage against something like Rafale or Gripen, but F-16 and the like are not so much better as to ensure victory. And IIRC, F-16 was actually at an advantage against F-15 in BVR combat due to smaller RCS.
