Not to be outdone, Jatiyo Party chief Ershad too journeyed to Delhi in what could have been a move by him to understand Indian establishment sentiment on his current alliance with the ruling Awami League. His party has been in the uncomfortable position of trying to be both the official opposition in parliament and part of the government, where it has quite a few ministers.

The India connection is thus a major highlight in Bangladesh’s electoral politics in these times. The Awami League government has done well in the economy in the last decade, but corruption and growing authoritarianism are increasingly being seen as its Achilles’ heel.

Wow, I made one post about trying for a peaceful solution and I got so much hate.

There is no hate involved but rather you are naive against us. This "peace" has been discussed to death years ago on this forum.

1) Pakistan should not be the top priority in politics

It was never. India's foreign policy and strategic capabilities don't spin around Pakistan unlike Pakistani does to India.

Ignore Pakistan on Kashmir. Media shouldn't even refer Pakistan anywhere. Let Pakistanis know we are ignoring them

Pakistan is a "neighbor". Political history won't allow us ever to forget Pakistan even if our economy becomes 100 times of ours.

Ignore/snub per circumstances is fruitful but deliberate one sounds vicious and stupid. Pakistani officials, celebrities and politicians vent a lot of talk out of thin air. Indian counterparts don't even bother about them. Nothing can be better than it.

Achieve fast economic progress. Beat Pakistan in all types of sports as well.

India was always well on course.

But compete with European countries to excel.

A part of long term goals. That's why we treat you like an ignorant kid who knows nothing. Do you know that achieving income levels of Europeans is not even impractical for a lower middle income country for decades? India's objective is and should be to be an upper and high income country first.

Start having economic relationship with Pakistan. Make them dependent on us. This way, they will think twice before resorting to terrorism or talking about Kashmir.

7) Once they start moving from religion, they and us will truly look at each other as Indians and maybe then we can become united. But we should follow these steps.

For it Pakistan needs to be conquered, obliterated, devastated and its rulers have to be eviscrated and this region should come under direct dictiorial rule of Indian government for decades.

Implications of this "enlargement" of Ladakh to include Gilgit-Baltistan:

• We've partitioned PoK into PoK (that now only includes so-called Azad Kashmir), and PoL (Pakistan occupied Ladakh, which includes Gilgit-Baltistan).
• CPEC passes through PoL and not PoK
• We can launch military campaigns to take PoK without opening up a front along PoL (and vice-versa). This means a campaign into PoK will deprive a Chinese intervention, because the Indian UT of J&K no longer has a Chinese border in any direction
• Likewise, we can salami-slice G-B and not let the international community bring up "Kashmir" since neither India nor Pakistan regard Skardu as part of Kashmir (we call it part of Ladakh, they call it part of Baltistan)
• As we keep adding salami-sliced G-B to Indian control, it will fall under direct UT rule and have nothing to do with the snakes in Srinagar.

In short, this fashion of carving up J&K makes it politically easier for India to retake Paki-held territory. They should be very careful not to provoke India at this time.
