India's Air Defense System and its Capabilities

For paki they do only tactical move in to Indian airspace only 10 or 20 km inside Indian territory with SEAD or stand off systems for that what we need better 4++ gen intercepcters not upgraded 3 Rd gene what happened in Feb 27th points to what we need most , a rapid modernization in aircraft fleets, we need more gud point intercepcters like LCA mk1 with i-derby like missiles not the other way around

For nasam II India sent an letter of necessity.
USA approved it and now moving forward.

F35 or THAAD India made no official move for them .

This purchase of Nasams 2 is a quid pro quo deal to sooth Uncle Trump's frayed nerves.

It's sort of a payment for the Rs 5.43 billion S-400 deal.

As a product, it will add zero value to our inventory since we already have systems better suited to meet our requirements.


And the deal is just around a billion US dollars. We Indians can afford this. Or else, Uncle will send its CAATSA goons after us.

Yes in AD we were lacking very much with Soviet SAM systems but now a good numbers of systems have been developed ,procured ,deployed and are in developing stages as well Akash NG and Phase 2 of BMD should also be tested in near future , Enemy's hollow threats have created a "chakravyuh" that even abhimanyu can't pass

Yes Navy can but MRSAM isn't deployed now that's why I said not currently operational
