Long issued by ofb ( whatever the current name is)apart from officers and few non commisioned ranks they can't buy just been budget restraints plate Armor included with carrier . It's not individual job to buy one . Even 51 SAG is more or not same during op donot know about Parades or shows

They look alot similar to how they look in parade and shows, last time they were thrown in action they were using the gear they used to show back then (Pathankot)

Na new vest and jackets in parades don't know about gears in encounters otherwise in training or routine duty same old gear

The only "old gear" on SAG i have seen is the older helmet which they seem to use as a bump helmet. Which is there every where and it has popped recently.

JSOC , USSS, Major City SWAT teams ( LA, NY, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, FBI HRT all cross train with each other.

Infact I have read that the Major City SWAT/ERT teams are at the cutting edge of CQB tactics and kit and JSOC learns as much as they impart. The quality of shooters is good enough to not only keep up but teach JSOC guys new tricks of the trade.

FBI HRT not only they train with JSOC they deploy with them too. They usually deploy to gather evidence in case terorist is sent to US and protect "Chain of Custody". They also do biometrics and other stuff.


Here is a picture of FBI HRT deployed with 75th Rangers Regiment in Afghanistan.
