The Polish use a really sexy 7.62 NATO chambered PKM (yeah, blew my mind too) named UKM 2000.
Dunno if a part swap is possible between your regular PKM and their UKM but if it is, we could extend the service of our Pikkas by simply buying those specific parts from them. (Don't tell me about some fine-print law where Poles won't sell us weapons parts that you specifically googled to dispute me and ask me if I know it. I don't!)

Tbh, the NG7 is the better choice (if money ain't an issue at all) but just putting it out here.
Would cut unnecessary expenses and give the soldiers a platform they already know inside out, instead of a new MG system which they'll have to modify and relearn their drills and handling on.

Very 80s aesthetic.
Isn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be. Looks don't matter as much if it isn't effective in the environment you use it in, but that's for the Army to judge.
Imo, it gives a very unique look to our forces. With the worldwide move to multicam, I find our forces distinguishable, much like the German's flecktarn.

Let's see it in the field, though.
That'll show how good it really is.

I dont like the Plate Carriers these guys should be using "High Speed" as they say in Gucci Gang XD. Primarly because its lighter and almost all of the battalions are focused on extreme terrain where its favorable to use them.

I would argue they arent plate carriers at all, they are BPJs, plate carriers are completely different.

Nah, they should be using regular molle-BPJ with soft and hard inserts as well as shoulder pads.
