Brother you being a senior member I would request you to moderate the discussion in this thread , the way people agitated here when someone posts off topic post which is legit , but in the name of criticizing the policy makers or equipments people name calling our units or Soldiers is completely distasteful.
Please maintain that minimum decorum , even if we are criticizing we can keep that respect for them for what they are doing.

Half of the members here, including me, have relatives (close and distant) serving in the military.
We're not part of the military fraternity, directly or indirectly.
Don't claim it.
Playing as a kid in Hindon Airbase with other Air force brats and going to the market sitting on an NCO's shoulders doesn't make you a part of the "military fraternity".

Fkin Kenyan SOFs rolling around with better gear and people here have the audacity to question whether our military's equipment is sub par.

We see 10 different rounds in a single Paratrooper platoon and these absolute imbeciles don't understand how terribly that will affect mobilization during war.

First of all bro . It was a joke . I even said that it meant no offense . I had already cleared in a post earlier that I respect Special Forces operators and the training and hardships they go through .
So tell me don't we take the Navy's Seals "Bisleri Boys" joke sportingly , Maj.Vivek Jacob .
You might be a new member in DFI and hence may not be aware of joke terms like
"Insta Spec Forces"
"D.E.R.P"
Second I'm not a Gucci Gang member nor a bhakt . I'm a neutral member. And I prefer to retain this status. And I'm rather hopeful with the growing potential in Garuds , since they are doing in a more agile manner .
That said , it would be really helpful if you could request him to join DFI since , after Maj.Avinash left , there has been a blank space for a spec ops personnel in our forum.
