I think so too. Why the hell would SF be deployed within our own armour lines. IMO They would deployed on LRRP or DA missions on / behind enemy lines SEAD /DeAD missions to prep the battle field for the Armour and bring in CAS

Like adopting Tavor 21 flattops , high cut exfils and plate carriers , even a digitalized camo for their standard issue . Or buying MACS kits from MKU for upgrading their ACHs
