Seems like the Garuds were disguised as aircrew. That is the aircrew's uniform.

Its IAF technical uniform worn by on-duty personnel.

Looks like the afghan special forces just ditched their fancy helmets and comtacs and ran.
I jave to admit i was wrong about them.

Take a look at this video from 0:20 onwards you can see a huge pile of firearms and some men in black with brownish helmets and plate carriers, some guys are claiming they are NSG or SG members which I doubt. IMO they might be the ITBP guys or the GARUDs. They might even be Indians who work for private security firms too but this too may be unlikely
