According to the new re-organization plan, some RR batallions will be withdrwan from CI duties and deployed along LAC. In such a situation, we may see CPRF QAT along with J&K police SOG leading most CI ops. Also, on standby will be NSG, some of whom are already posted in Srinagar.
RR in most of the cases, SOG/QAT come second, in the recent Bann toll plaza encounter, QAT/SOG were on the spot so they did their job

Fab mod Ak is mostly used by RR and frontline troops. But yes Paras do they have them, but prefer Tavors and to some extent M4s.
