MARCOs seem to embrace actual sniping more than PARA (SF), they've had a dedicated sniper course for over a decade nowIndian Navy Marine Commandos (MARCOS) Sniper Team with OSV-96 (12.7×108mm) Anti Material Rifle

No idea. It was mentioned in the interview with a MARCOs operator a few weeks backWhere's the course conducted, and shouldn't they train other operators, para comes and trains diving in Kochi
Isn't officer cadets in NDA and IMA given Training in foreign languages, Arabic French Spanish and whatnotNo idea. It was mentioned in the interview with a MARCOs operator a few weeks back
PARAs just don’t seem to be as interested in technical/formal skills as others
Would be quite depressing to contrast a Green Beret and a PARA (SF), Green Berets are given years of advanced skill training for advanced medicine, linguistics, radio comns, FID etc etc. In fact afaik each GB has to choose a foreign language to specialise in once he passes Q course
how many in Indian SFs can speak a single foreign language?Probably less than a dozen?
Those kind of officers are mostly in AEC not SF.Isn't officer cadets in NDA and IMA given Training in foreign languages, Arabic French Spanish and whatnot
Have seen in some video a cadet getting trained in mandarin
