paras will USE the scar L for this purpose, not the scar H.View attachment 86082
This is best for Para SF than going for Scar h most expensive rifle
He never said the Tavor was front heavy, he just said the m4 was better balanced.I think @AVINASH4061 sir has already spoken about it. IIRC he said the Tavor is quite front heavy and not that good for CQB. He felt the M4 was a much better platform for which there are a lot of accessories etc.
Yeah, back heavy makes more sense..He never said the Tavor was front heavy, he just said the m4 was better balanced.
I think Negev was delivered around 16000 If I am right@AVINASH4061 Sir, it is known that Para SF do possess a few old gen Negev LMGs, have you used them sir and if yes, how were they?
For the Special forces modernisation plan they have chosen the MK 48 machine gun made by FN America , don’t you think it would have made more sense if they had chosen the Negev NG7 which Indian army has purchased for its regulars? Also the Negev NG7 is the lightest 7.62x51 lmg in the market?
I am not sure about the presence of NEGEV LMGs, have never seen them or fired. I am not qualified to comment on the effectiveness of NEGEV vis a vis the MK 48s.@AVINASH4061 Sir, it is known that Para SF do possess a few old gen Negev LMGs, have you used them sir and if yes, how were they?

Training yes, but amphibious- never. As I said mandate hota hai, there is always a defined scope of the training/ exercise. Your coursemate must have said the truth about the police commandos being taught the aspects of amphibious warfare. My coursemates have a different version. And no one needs my validation for anything. I am no scholar or expert. Only thing is I think twice before endorsing a comment on a forum where folks put so much faith on me.Dude i am not asking you for validation or anything. He is my batchmate and wrote what he said. Take it or not. Doesnt matter.
Ask your mates in Marcos or Garuds whether they imparts anyform of training for state police commanod units.
I asked Shwetabh Singh who has decent knowledge of tanks. T-55 came with Dshk & sgmt while T-72 with PKT, PKM & NSV. But detailed comparison of those PKMs with PARAS' PKMs need to be done in order conclude anything.@Unknowncommando 2 @Killbot i am not 100% sure as i had never seen pks mounted over T-55s but movie made me think otherwise.. Still its a movie so take it witg a pinch of salt only. I am. Just supporting Falconslayer
Common sense be it SF modernisation or Managing a middle class house is to first "cover the basics and then go for luxuries".View attachment 86082

I don't understand anything your against or for it what I said for m4a1 modsCommon sense be it SF modernisation or Managing a middle class house is to first "cover the basics and then go for luxuries".
But we have to prove that we are stupid.
Instead of going for better com, removing night blindness and getting simple accessories we will go for an expensive rifle.
Even after we have two pretty decent rifles and third coming up with the Infantry which mind you can be made available for SF.
I seriously dont understand anything.
Someone send the upgrade kit @Gessler came up with for our m4 rifles in service.Common sense be it SF modernisation or Managing a middle class house is to first "cover the basics and then go for luxuries".

now someone needs to pitch it to the sf community.
The landscape is crying out for a better woodland camo.
