The almighty has spoken... very much spot on. Recently, in Israel, several SOF units were facing a very funky scenario wherein the hamas' militants were using heavy MGs/LMG assortments in underground tunnels' T junctions, this tactic inflicted a whole lot of casualities on the israeli units. 90% of CQB videos on youtube instagram are just marketing strategy and are aimed at the civillian market.
CQB is largely cope . Americans would blow up any mosque or place where militants were hiding from if they were too “holed up”.

Some clips are from 2016-19 timeframe except for the SFTS ones. Got a news that the regiment will be issued a new plate carrier (the one we saw in recent pics of 2 para) that will replace the current bulky ones, Over vests and chest rigs will be kept and used parallelly (maybe there'd be an upgrade in quality).
I don't hate the Olive planet Pc is they still go for those great but those guys need to do better with their stitching quality they claimed that it would be saved after they move to their new facility

Proper CQB only makes sense in very very specific and complex scenarios. It's more of a SWAT/Police HRT Niche. Military units however should be acquainted with what they might face on certain missions... again imho, it's a doctrine thing, RR boys do require a basic sense of CQB but on the other hand why would a Heliborne Ops capable Ghatak plt of a Inf regt would train and equip for complex stuff that NSG does?

In military sense CQB only makes sense when you have to extract an HVT now otherwise just blow up that shit and Don't risk ur boys life for some low life rag tag

Got a news that the regiment will be issued a n.
Since you have someone in the know. Can you Ask

1. What is the delineation between the SF regiment and Parachute Regiment? will they be equal strenght?
2. What happens to the 50th Brigade? - is there a plan to roll the Paras into a Bridgae/Division Style Central/Strategic Formation and make it a Static Orbat?

The Parachute Regiment is one of the Oldest Regiments of the Indian Army. It gets disbanded?

Where do the Airborne Para guys go? into the new SF Regiments? So basically we will just spend alot of money changing Emblems and print new Stationary?

If that is true then what kind of dumbfuckry is this?

1. Right now nothing is clear except for the fact that all ex-regular para units/airborne units have converted their War Establishment into something on the lines of SF units all while retaining 2 Company (now "Teams") strength of soldiers trained for para (regular) duties. Parachute Regiment is here to stay. SF regiment is in the works. [take this with a truckload of salt]
2. I'll have to ask this one since I have zero Idea.
