Using SG for a literal 1.5km raid would have just further highlighted IAs inability to differentiate between sof and super infantry .

P.S just found out the level headed and ex para veterans themselves call Paras super infantry and would want a separate sf unit but well everything doesn't happen as we wish

It's very well known that isi is clearing it's mess for multiple reasons
Due to economic instability
Emergence of new org like trf and paff which has same ideology but toned downed propaganda and image which can't be accepted by old jihadis
And many other reasons

best way to describe SG is this way, SG's role is similar to ISA's but they also have units who work like Green Beret's CIF (Special Counter Terrorist Unit), they have units that work with Aviation Research Center as well as units that work similar to CIA's Ground and Political branch as well as GRS.
