Indian education system is not the enemy here, I would even say that its quite the opposit as it paints a very optimistic picture for a peaceful future.
The issue is insane amount of propaganda from both side of political spectrum creating massive polarization in our country.
Young people are interested in politics more then ever, they are also the most easy targets for brain washing.

I am still quite young and I am witnessing this first hand.
There are people who can't even vote yet are so extremely inclined towards one side of political ideology that they will defend it with their life.

Nope those in para do complain about gear and equipment but in IA like other armed forces the higher ups do reject the plea reinstating they have the best and other soldiers don't complain so there no point in complaining until ranks such as Colonel or Lt. Col does so and uper brass agrees.

They are IAF's Ghatak commandos in all but name. Far cry from an SOF.

kinda, they're a QRF for important airbases, and veyr very few of them are actually CCT qualified, some are pararescuemen, since Garud has been involved in these rescue ops ever since. But apart from calling in airstrikes from an old lazer target designator or do emergency response near Airforce stations, the Garuds really do not do much

In real life they will take orders at job from a person of that community,Cheer when shami or siraj takes wickets,Meet a indian army muslim officer and be thankful.
