How many botched up ops will keep happening this year. Kulgam, Rajouri, Kokernag, Poonch, and now Kalakote.

And why is SOF being called in for sqaud rescue when RR units have QRTs dedicated for this specific task? Even by some officers admissions RRs QRT can be as effective as the paras.
Our command until now haven't understood the concept of mandate and requirement of sof
That has been very clear right now
Sending para sf for casualty evac when the areas isn't sanitized is foolishness
I mean send any force in such situation u will get same result
Now most importantly should this job be done by para sf
Why send para sf and lose critical operators in such already compromised ops
Our command thinks anything goes out of control immediately send para sf

So both were captains and other 2 jco
Horrible truly horrible
No other words
@abingdonboy Para SF is a global joke. You were right. No matter what it’s past achievements, the IA in 2023 is an obsolete joke which will get its behind handed to them in any conflict.

If this is what rag tag terrorists do imagine what a single platoon of paki soldiers would do.

“Gucci Gang”, while incorrect on some things. Are largely right.

Apolohies for my ignorance.

The truth is that Indian military in 2023 is very outdated and will not last long in a contemporary conflict.

Gucci gang is all correct bro..it is people like u who live in false sense of superiority complex and then cry at the first casualty.

we knew the script 5 years ago unlike u

i can also predict what will happen against china if shit breaks loose

Dont live like a angrez with false sense of superiority complex like the age of Raj..the Raj has gone and so have the angrez..and so has your superior Para men from 70s.

yeah , Ln Goswami's squad had gone out on 5 ops in the week he was KIA ..
situation is still the same even after the astronomical increase in the number of units just shows that even the command knows only a few units are actually good and thus keep pushing them .

When you face death daily its only a matter of time for one to run out of luck
wow I'm actually curious as to how much action would MARCOs see in North Kashmir (where they are deployed) in a six-month tour, like on average ? I think the highest op temp was between 1996-97, 99, 2003-4

We are doing the same mistakes what America used to do from 2001-2004. The only difference is, we dont learn from other's mistakes or from our mistakes as well. We do not adapt. Because life is cheap in this country.

Appart from SF type operations, Marcos were also providing QRT to RR in Bandipora grid taking this in consideration, they were seeing combat on a daily basis during initial years of their induction into op rakshak.
