IMO those SCARs and other FN rifles were a testing batch. nothing more. Just like when the SFF got Tavors before they were rolled out to SF and the Rest of the Services.

Looks like Garuds are using Drum magazines for Kalashnikovs, Tavors and SiG-716i.

Even nsgs have very few of them right but those 10inch cqb scars with nsgs were sexy af tbh it's a beautiful rifle but with 10inch barrel it looks even more beautiful.

In para SF's case ? Yes. 1 para and SFTS still have those. Idk about SG

SFF got them before SFTS. Few 100 were pocured as a Trial. the SFF went to SG. AFAIK the SG still rather take Fab Modified AKs on their romps.

The same happened with the TAVORs. the SFF pointed out a whole host of defects in the TAVORs which the Israelis fixed as the final orders were placed for SF.

NSG kinda went on a procurement spree during 2019.sig mpx, kriss vector, scar H and L but in the end only limited amount was bought. Those mp5s and sig series need to be replaced

Yea that was all testing batches for internal R&D - the SCARs would make a horrible CQB weapon IMO.

I think if they really want and try they can even get 416/7 .... there are many backdoors
Russians have done it ..we can too ,it's only a matter of choice and will

Too expensive not worth it specially when we can get Local Production of the Caracal

Area Cmdrs are using SF for casuality evacuations aswell ? Just heard a team of 9 para SF guys got ambushed(4 got injured) while retrieving the fatally injured body of a RR officer today in Rajouri.

the area commanders is so out of touch from reality .
They are SF specially trained but that doesn't mean they are bullet proof . Even i know causality extraction is like walking inside a death trap.

Then again army is half based on following orders to your death

Also I have never seen paras carrying Smoke on them , do they not use it

Plus see how overworked the unit is, senior leadership needs some sense knocked into their heads somehow.
