I think these types of drills are only applicable in CI/CT or hostage rescue that too in some cases.
In offensive ops you won't have time to do all these shenanigans; Example - EDI pampore.

I find these types of drills funny as they assume that the opponent will not watch out for them and will let them do what they want , while in reality they would actively fire upon you .

Bhai aiysa he ki rajputs could have ruled all over india had they not acted like the IA is acting now.

Sikhs,Maratha empire would have not risen had Rajputs put their act together and nor did hindus had to be killed raped like anything.

No unity,No modernisation,too much chivalry etc caused them to be smacked.

Hundred percent agreed.
The times rajputs had were usually short lived unfortunately because the great rulers were almost always succeeded by bad ones. Sawai Jai Singh who modernized his army and gave the marathas the greatest ass kicking (Battle of Pilsud) was succeeded by his sons who basically destroyed his kindgom ina. civil war.

Rajputs are basically what the IA is today. World class individual soldiers who are led by irresolute men. They both have/had potnetial to be real powers but squandered it

Why are people deluding themselves?

the IN has a special warfare command with a dedicated modernisation office AND their strength is ~1/5th-1/6th of the Paras

the IA has no similarities- they’ve diluted their own SF capabilities and expanded numbers, they haven’t got a centralised SF command, the officer assigned for modernisation doesn’t have a a SF background etc etc
