They have shown the rifles captured from our jawans including the insas..there were 4 rifles..

1 Insas and 3 Romanian ak were captured. Ironically they used Romanian ak to Carry out this kulgam attack which they captured from dead soldiers in an ambush.



They now have close to a dozen captured ak with them , few Insas and a tavor too

The success of Meghdoot force and Badal Force has as much to do with Col Megh Singh as Gen Harbaksh Singh who understood the value of special operations as he was a lateral thinker himself. The formation of the unit in western command was done without official Authorization. The successes in the Uri / Poonch sector were such that the Govt gave official Authorization to raise this unit as part of ORBAT in the middle of the war.

Meghdoot is today 9 and 10 Para SF.

That's a IWI x4 scope. On Indian Negev these are the most common sights

And as for it looking like it's mounted backward, no, it's not. They're using a killflash on it.
