The STING is a good option if all you want from the LAM is just that, laser aiming. It gives you both IR and visible lasers.

But unlike the ATPIAL, it does not have an IR illuminator. So better make sure quite a bit of ambient light is available when relying on that in NVGs.

Are those laser cut bpj?
Yes.

"Third, the special forces bilateral exercise, 'Vajra Prahar', just concluded in India this weekend signifying increasing military-to-military cooperation."

Didn't hear anything about Vajra Prahar this year - anyone got any idea? I checked on DVIDS as well, the latest Vajra Prahar updates are from 2019.

At first I thought they were confusing Yudh Abhyas with Vajra Prahar - but that was last month, not last week and they correctly identify it as "special forces exercise".

???

Was it hush-hush? Perhaps possible JSOC-AFSOD interaction? Why're they talking about it now?

No idea honestly. Hush Hush would mean interaction with JSOC which honestly I highly doubt as AFSOD would not have the readiness to cross train with JSOC. Unless it's a one way training with us being the trainees.

If it's vanilla SOF then there is no need to be Hush Hush. From either side.

Exactly - weird indeed. Not a peep about this from any source.
