Those boots look good.
Salomon quest 4d 3 GTX price Rs 20000
Have seen this with para sf in Myanmar documentary
What is the need for 50 caliber browning, when OFB is already producing NSV and army has improvised it on Browning tripod along LOC. OFB also produces 12.7*108 mm ammunition for NSV.Actually Mod Leckie's Still Choking the Files on 2 years old orders.
It nots very Smooth

The red tape and delay in procuring specialised firepower from the United States
The elite Special Force units have resorted to stripping de-commissioned battle tanks or using weapons recovered from militants in the absence of the equipment to be procured from the US.www.dailyo.in
Problem Is Army control over Special Operations command unlike US SOMCOM
its Needs Separate budget Like NSG and Separate training Centers And Special think tanks
Who gives a fuck what they're worth... He's right, why are we buying Brownings? NSV is definitely good enough, not not to mention cheaper. It 8snt as if those will be used often either...Because OFB isn't worth the dirt on the Para SF's shoe
Browning ko bhi copy kiya....OFB developed Browning 50 caliber shown in Defence expo 2020.
How unreliable can they make a machine gun?? It won't be that bad.It isn't about the NSV or the browning, it's the production quality of OFB products. The last thing we wanna do is to now start handing weapons from the OFB to the Paras considering their atrocious record.
Vehicle mounted MG. Not that they'll use it given the kind of missions they're doing. To be honest what puzzles me i swhy the Para SF needs this in the first place.
Much more firepower with a fixed HMG. But again, a .338 MG would be much better for this role. Something on the lines of Sig MG338..eh...light machine gun can do that job as well, plus you can then dismount with it.
Wrong thread bro...OFB even made a RCWS( most probably help from Elbit) based on Browning 50 caliber. They are offering it to Navy and Coast guard.
While a separate RCWS(indigenous project) on armoured vehicles like Arjun MK1A is based on NSVT.
SSS Defence is reportedly working on a .338 Lapua magnum based LMG. OFB will probably also upscale its new 7.62*51mm LMG to .338 caliber variant, if army issues an RFI.Much more firepower with a fixed HMG. But again, a .338 MG would be much better for this role. That post was based on the fact that Para SF has decided to procure WW1 vintage Browning guns from US, when local solutions exists in-house.Wrong thread bro...
Thats the thing, don't just up-gun that flimsy 7.62 LMG, do something innovative. Like an easily portable .338 LMG with a reciprocating barrel. And a fire control optic. With a LRF, ballistic computer, etc.. Stuff like that will go a long way. Scaling up the existing LMG to .338 will make it heavy as hell.SSS Defence is reportedly working on a .338 Lapua magnum based LMG.
