Agilite does not manufacture weapons.

They make gear - helmet covers, plate carriers, armour plates and such.
That's what I said. Read properly.

"it's a photoshoot conducted by AGILITE, an Israeli manufacturer of vests, helmets & kit. They have working relationship with IWI so obviously will only feature their weapons in the shoots. "

Somebody who has an Instagram account please request these posters to stop posting images of operatives. They are marked men even after they leave the services. Don't make the enemy's job easier. It is very easy to identify from the silhouette and blurring the face is hardly enough.

Many people have raised concern about the same issue sir, but the admin has assured us that safety and secrecy is not compromised for the purpose of gaining likes.

Every rifle will have it's short comings, a bullet doesn't care who it's hitting. Obsession with Rifles is fine but it's the shooter that matters more. Whether he fires from a Uzi, Tavor, militia grade AK or fully kitted SCAR, doesn't matter on field really if the shooter knows how to use the weapon. What they need is a reliable rifle that works in the field in extreme conditions. For example MARCOS using AK-103 or even vanilla AK for 'over the beach ops' is a no brainer , there really isn't a reliable equivalent. Same for AK-203, we may not like the choice but there is something absolutely comforting to have an AK considering the extensively diverse and extreme conditions our folk operate in.
SEALs use CQBRs. Even M4s with a few modifications can be used for diving ops. AK is certainly not the best platform for such ops.

And the capability of the gun matters just as much as the shooter. If your weapon cannot engage a target effectively, it doesn't matter if you're fucking Deadshot.

Tavor was made originally a replacement for the M-4, across IDF, Tavors and X-95 outnumber the M-4s. I also only said, Tavors are used extensively across IDF and they outnumber the M-4s. There is no reason to dump on the Tavor and Indian SF use it along side the M-4. M-4 was bought and has it's own advantges.

Cock sucking much?
If Tavor was meant to replace M4s, why has it not been done yet? Tavor in its original avatar is all but gone, and even X-95 Block I and II (the ones used by CRPF) have been replaced with block IIIs with longer barrel and lighter trigger pull.

Even after the advent of X-95 in the IDF, M4s and even CAR-15, which were like the OG 5.56mm carbine from the '70s see widespread use with IDF. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that there are just as many AR platform weapons serving with IDF as X95s.

The reason Indian SF procured M4s in the first place because the Tavor has a shit trigger and even shittier accuracy. They only use Tavor because of lack of availability of other platforms.

And @Gessler, no, X95s don't outnumber M4s and CAR-15s even in regular IDF. Old Tavors, X95 Block I and II are completely gone from IDF service. Which leaves only the new X-95 Block III, which is expensive..

Yeah, they do. I'm a fan of the quick release system they use on their plate carriers. The modularity on those are comparable to Crye AVS system.
Pakistan yarmook class opv vs india samarth class opv (both cost around 60 million dollar) . ( new here, not know how to ask expert).

These purchases are for AFSOD IMO. The quantity ordered is very very low to equip para sf

SF should standardize HK416/CAR816 frankly. Tavors are frankly bad and SCARs are way too expensive for what they offer. CAR816 is pretty much a gift at it's price. We can scrap the AK-203 and give the contract to a local company for the regulars.
Where do these sweeping statements like Tavors are frankly bad come from?

They are not 'bad', per se. They just have many inherent issues, and as such are not suited for SOF. Just like any other bullpup rifle.
