I was at the spot, plus there is an SF QRT that is composed on the basis of one permanent battalion and one minor battalion. In Jammu AO, permanent component is 9 para SF and minor component stays on rotation, at present it is 1 para SF.

Telltale sign of 1 para SF, they've been using those since 2012-13.
What a shit-show that you can tell different battalions of the same regiment apart because each battalion wears different basic gear. You don't see this with any other infantry regiment lmao. "Oh yeah, that is 14 Maratha Light Infanty. Tell tale sign is that they're using different helmets to every other MARLI battalion"

Absolutely, converting regular para to SF also has led to widening of this disparity.
