So true.
Jaundice is very easily treatable now a days. Both my mom and bro had and was easily treated.
This seems like an avoidable death, to my untrained eye. A precious soldier lost despite the army having superb medical facilities! army spend so much money on sf training and yet allows its soldiers to die suffering from treatable conditions.....heads shud roll for this! Feeling extremely frustrated.
The type that your mom and bro might have had would likely be hepatitis A which usually clears up by itself after a few days. You can’t be sure if this case was that or the more dangerous Hepatitis B or C though C is treatable these days.

It cud b buddy but we were vaccinated against heppatitis b. Y rnt our soldiers who operate in som inhuman conditions not given these vaccinations? Y no regular medical check ups? Whatever strain of disease, his death remain avoidable in my humble opinion.
Army can easily apply if they want reform unlike in civil.

You can see two helmets in two different sizes for commandos . It is necessary to have one or more size option when it comes to headgear & BP Vest.

Nice kit! Imagine them doing finger guns at hot chicks while driving as pick up lines! :biggrin2:
They still massively lag behind their western counterparts. I’d say NSG is 5-7 years behind and the military SFs of India are easily 15-20 years behind.

Other than tactical built in knee pad/elbow pad support, FAST/EXFIL Helmets (NSG has rail mounted VIPER helmets) and 4 tube NVG, NSG has all necessary equipment. 20 years is too much. 5 at most, especially with recent gear to Ghataks, Para SF and MARCOS.
