These plate carriers r getting common now. Don't know how many of dis were ordered bt whoever taken decision 2 procure dis surely has knowledge about modern warfare. Apart from 1.86lakh SMPP BPJs & 50K Heavy duty BPJs we needed a lightweight PC in rough terrains. Here it is.

What do you mean by common? Milspec or Civilian Spec? On zooming it looks like the mike of the new headsets western units seem to be wearing. Its def not what is see even with say - Air Traffic Controllers for example.

But yes def not a computer mike

I mean like like the Liberator headsets used by US spec ops etc.

Not widely, still see most NSG with their old generation FLCs

Seems NSG has assigned teams (probably present at their Hubs) for rapid intervention during lone wolf type terror attacks that ride on motorbikes.

The UK Met police CTSFO have similar teams

Tavors and MARCOS equiv kit has been with various VBSS units for a few years now. to the point a few pictures posted on this forum of VBSS units have been mislabled as MARCOS in the past.

Plus acting wise I don't have much hopes,
Also I suspect their will be OVER acting, OVER melodramatic DIALOGUES And over emotional moments , Far from reality action sequences etc etc . I will be glad if I am wrong.

It's a movie … so it will have drama, purpose here is acknowledgement of our special forces men, deal with it. Let real stuff be handled by real men who doesn't give a shit to be acknowledged, it's us the only few who know that they are somewhere doing there job and we few talk and write about them, it's our little contribution to them.

As per the info available in social media it says Jaundice ..and it very well can be the reason ..Jaundice unchecked for shorter time with alcohol can turn very deadly ..have seen a family member die same way just when he was 34 years

i also have remember another officer don t remember the rank died few months ago agian with multiple organ failure this time because of bacteria infection he caught when he had injury in jungles of NE

Dammit man, loosing such capable officers to disease which are treatable. Why aren't medical check ups carried out frequently to army men?

So true.
Jaundice is very easily treatable now a days. Both my mom and bro had and was easily treated.
This seems like an avoidable death, to my untrained eye. A precious soldier lost despite the army having superb medical facilities! army spend so much money on sf training and yet allows its soldiers to die suffering from treatable conditions.....heads shud roll for this! Feeling extremely frustrated.
