This might be a bit off topic and I am a layman in terms of our special forces and their training. I've seen the video just now, I was hoping where would our forces stand.... This might sound fanboyism, but I know very little to make any assumptions..

I was hoping for Marcos, Para SF, NSG & Gary's(I am not sure on Gary's making top 10)

PS, If I've missed out any special forces, please let me know.

Firstly our special forces have an excellent reputation all over the world, secondly this Top Ten bullshit absolutely has no veracity, so you'll never find an Indian SOF in of these unless it's made by an Indian, These BS videos by some jingoistic fanboys of some or the other countries, reason being most of the western SOF's believe in this absolutely absurd propaganda of bragging about their freakkin' gear and equipment, disseminating HD quality videos of'em conducting a damn room intervention or conducting a damn HALO jump. Tell me how many videos of Indian SF are out there in public domain huh? it doesn't mean that they don't do it. Indian SOFs are highly revered among the World special forces community but not popular with the plebeian because of the extremely reticent nature of their's.

ever thought why do those fancy 'modern' equipment cladding sinewy western special forces operatives holler this on sat comms " shit just hit us hard! need immediate air support, i repeat immediate air support" ? lol because equipment aren't a sign of capability, though they're important but but you just can't go on sauntering with all those fancy equipment every fuckin' time of the day, it's all according to the mission.

and as for Indian SOF's their operational experience in CI-CT ops is nonpareil, Indians are being taught to speak and show whatever is necessary, that's why you and i get to know things that they want us to know, no more no less, you might have heard or read about the glorious tales of American SOF conducting extremely complex operation in Afghanistan but i am sure you would have never heard or read about Indian SOFs being part of such operations, someday in future we might get to know about'em. It's just that we indians keep our gobs shut and work.

so don't believe in these kind of videos my brother, just watch'em and move to next one you might find ST-6 on the first position instead of SAS lol.

What is "BLACK STROKES" of Pakistan? Never heard of it. To my knowledge, I knew about SSG but certainly not about "BLACK STROKES" Anyone knows about it, please put some light on my knowledge

Not Strokes. (Thats just wrong) Black Storks - Zarrar Company (SSG Ind Cdo Btn)

Its a CT/HRT unit of the SSG. Like what the CRW/Blue Thunder is to the SAS.

Zarrar was eventually given the CT duties and Musa Company has reverted back to Amphibs ops.

Good to see those P90s and the WPR, looks like they are geared up for CQB. But its very sad to see that these best of the best guys are not having proper gear, not even by the standards of ME country sfs like Iraqi SOF. I would be very happy to see them each armed with a secondary arm, Fast helmets, modular plate carries with molle attachments, an equivalent cyre precision G3 combat shirt and pants, with provisions for slip in knee and elbow pads(brand name Airflex), wrist mounted gps displays), and a two way communication over ear tactical headset and radio. And atleast all the team members should be equiped with individual NVGs.
