china nd korea hv advantage due to their good ship building facilities. they r top manufacturers of global ships. thats why chinese make their type 055 (13000 ton cruiser) in approx 1 billion dollars nd koreans make their sejong class destroyer (11000 tons) in 900 million dollars. meanwhile we r making vishakhapatnam class destroyer (7600 ton) in 1.2 billion dollars nd nilgiri class frigate (6000 ton) in 900 million dollars approx. big difference in ships quality, size nd price.

my guess is, without aircrafts (26 which we going to buy) for vikrant. they r not in hurry. coz aircraft carrier isnt gonna operationalize if they dont hv enough fighters. vikrant is only operationalize after 2026-27 (if we sign deal of 26 fighter in 2023). we hv only 41 mig 29k, if we guess they give 50% operation servicibility (which many claims even below) than for Vikramaditya carrier only 20-21 mig 29k operation ready. although it can carry 26 fighters. so forgot mig 29k give service to vikrant.
