Honestly will take more than a year to get the best out of the system. Aircrews , EW crews , AWaCS, Ground controllers all will have to train with a new system in the battlespace not just the SAM crews.

Not to mention engineering, maintaince, supply chain for parts etc etc

Battlefield proficiency would take much lower time, with around a year or less taken for that. The S400 operates independently of AWACS and EW aircraft. The Russians are developing the Morpheus system for prevention of SEAD/DEAD by enemy forces.

Total readiness time would more realistically be around 10 months. This is the same time the Russians took from assembly/deployment to complete activation in Syria.
