Still no valid justification for a CO leading extraction of civilians. Only a wrong intel could give a false sense of security to the CO & his team while entering the encounter site infested with terrorists.

And to add economy factor,we are all sure there will be drop in growth rate in India.Maybe a limited war will drop it further. We will have 0% growth either way, war will take it to -2%. So whats the deal? 0% or -2% all are same. it will not affect us. But durng normal times when we again have high growth rate say 7%, then war will bring it down to 0. That will affect us psychologically.
