There was no fight actually, they just gave it away in a platter as soon as the US quit from Afghanistan. It is hardly 3 weeks Taliban manage to cease the whole region, so the word fight doesn't exits here. Even the motive of US air raid was just to slow down the Taliban movement instead not to stop them. So that they have enough time to vacate the embassy officials in Kabul. IMO everything is pre-planned and executed as per script by US, pak and Arab countries agreement

As I said this is because the have no motivation or moral to fight.
At physiological level they are afraid of Taliban and have accepted defeat.
Not to forget their government is broke.
For an ordinary Afghan their is not between Taliban and current Afghan government.

EXACTLY! India agreed to ceasefire on LoC not because the GoI wants peace with its western neighbor but due to intense pressure put by US on India. Unfortunately, India's foreign policy is dictated by US and US has left India in such a complicated miasma that Indians might as well be kicking themselves. US has a history of backstabbing (non-White/non-European) allies and it does it without any remorse. India should mend ties with Russia no matter what.

On the other hand, I suspect that both US and India have established backchannels with Afghan Taliban and making an effort to turn it against Pakistan and China. US needs China to get embroiled in civil war in Xinxiang province, where it would be easy for Taliban to stoke the flames of Islamic extremism and fundamentalism and create migraine for PRC, while they will let Afghan Talibs to snatch away NWFP from Pakistan and that is the reason Americans left behind military hardware intact.

I agree with the first assessment like others here, The second suspicion is just a conformation bias, there is nothing cooking between India and US. There is not much about Indian foreign policy to be termed as 'commanding' on global stage, and why would it be ? we have just received our best Foreign minister ever in decades, Many won't like it but even Jaishankar sir is not 'exceptional' if you consider the world standards. The only change which this BJP era has brought about is that we have handled Pakistan well, if Pakistan directly tries mischief on Indian soil , its a fried chicken, and no amount of world pressure can change that when that happens. Apart from that we don't have much in our hands.

After all the blunder, the only positive outcome from US withdrawal is it will no more consider porkistan as ally, porkistan can say now goodbye to financial aid and military support from US. Its time for GOI to widen the gap and make the most out of it. We shud negotiate with US to halt any spares support for pak F16

Without spares and weapons many of their fighters will be grounded. Already they have been denied MLU veraion, & they have been flying a 45 year old airframe going to reach end of flying hours. Iran flying American jets but is it worth engaging a 4.5 generation aircraft like Rafale or MKI

We have more then enough planes but the issue is all are planes are imported or are of imported design.
China designs and make their own planes hence can afford such shenanigans.
We doing such things would be burden on our economy.
Imagine wasting air-frame life of Rafale or Su-30MKI against that of JF-17, not talking into account the fuel cost for MKI. Once we have tejas we can try such activity but still then I believe it will be counter-productive.
Pakistan is a fear and hate mongering nation who makes its citizen believes that they are under constant perpetual threat from India's evil design and only Pakistan Army and ISI can save them from India.
We doing such things will play right into their establishment's hand with no benefit to us.

Probably wishful thinking.
But one hopes it turns out true.
Turning the Slave against the Master will really be a very big coup by our Intelligence agencies. Will probably be the biggest achievement of R&AW since the 1971 Bangladesh freedom operation.

If the Taliban can be made to go against the ISI and Pakistan, nothing better.
But can it happen?.

Its not about caring for Afghanistan. Its about caring for our own damn selves. What do we gain by recognizing Taliban? Negotiate and get something in return. Handing out free recognition is stupid.
