China has been threatening war to everybody in the neighbour hood including India, Philippines, Vietnam etc. It has not dared to fight a war with anybody. After its surprise attack at Galwan River valley and India threatening its life line by occupying Kailash Heights, China has retreated. …..

Same is happening against Taiwan …… just threats. Why no military moves, because Chinese are not confident that their military might is good enough to fight Taiwan and US combine.

The damage US could inflict on Chinese coastal defences will be immense. Chinese probably have some success here and there but not much to talk about. The real damage will be economic to China. That trade which sustains China will be lost and not much China could do anything about it. The U.S. does not have to invade mainland China. All they have to do is block all sea routes of trade; destroy all port networks and sink the bulk of Chinese navy.

Hence Chinese just threaten, they are incapable of fighting a war.

Regarding Arunachal Pradesh, China is following an interesting strategy of non-confrontation.

Basically, they are building roads & villages very close (or almost inside perceived LAC) where we have zero presence. Areas where we are present, they are avoiding building anything provocative but instead just reinforcing.

Now, before you all start the weekend RR, let me tell you we also have points of advantages against the Chinese where we have roads/villages till the border and China is yet to reach/little access.

Problem is since Indo-Tibetian border is not defined (or recognized by the Chinese) its free grab of territory for both sides, whatever they can capture. It is really, humanely not possible for any country, even USA to build so many roads/infra at such pace.
China enjoys the advantage due to their subsidised domestic industry & supply chain for manufacturing, plus incentive from CCP/Govt. to build more infrastructure.

Now this can tumble down to another massive war if both sides care enough to protect their territory (which funnily, isn't the case for either).

Unless GoI wakes the fuck up and prioritises development of NE, and esp. Arunachal Pradesh as a national project at war-footing, India & China is on path to constant military clashes in the future.
