Chinese are about to Find a Hawk inside a Peacock

Overconfident Chinese fattened by American FDI ($2 trillion) and all the possible trade advantage of low Yuan, American manufacturing technology and open invitations by America to take away smoke stack industry and reinstall them in China, has made China extremely dangerous. They have copied all military technology to build rockets, planes and naval ships in large numbers. That is all well and good to intimidate neighbours.

They made a mistake to intimidate India in the Himalayas. After 50 years of no action, they decided to invade India again in 2020. To them, the Indian weakness was clear. Small economy with not much exports, poor quality infrastructure and practically no capability to steal military technology and reverse engineer military hardware at home.

Well that was then and now is different. They found a hawk inside a peacock when they tried to intimidate it. All the above weaknesses have been redressed or in the process of being redressed. Indian military buildup of 1.4 million soldier is not built on copied technology but imported first rate technology obtained after paying license fees. In addition the OEM are setting up shops in india to manufacture high end Weapons. The high technology self developed weapons like rockets, fighter planes, nuclear submarines are far superior to Chinese hardware.

The hawk (India) means no harm to anybody except who comes to fight an unnecessary war like both China and Pakistan. They together are a serious threat concurrently or one after the other. Hence, India has struck a special friendship with US, Australia and Japan. The QUAD, as it is called is work in progress. It is good to be aligned with somebody than to fight a two front war alone. If you are well aligned then the enemies take a note and stay quiet. The QUAD may just do that.

‘’Hence Hawk is ready to reverse the intimidation which China has heaped on India and probably neutralize the bankrupt Pakistan.

‘Belligerent Chinese leader Xi Jinping has upped the ante a bit more. In his speech in Inner Mongolia, he said that country is safe only if its borders are safe. He was asking his military to build a Great Wall of steel at the border to defend the country.

‘Carefully interpreted, he is saying that border trouble which he has personally started after he took over with India and others will continue unabated. He has increased the troops strength in Tibet, Sinkiang, opposite Vietnam and collected a major invasion force opposite Taiwan. His speech explains all the belligerence he has initiated.

Hence, India’s build up of troops, rocket force, infrastructure in the Himalayas in last three years will continue to face up the Chinese belligerence. Now China knows that India is all ready for them, if they decide to come. I doubt that they will come; it will be suicide effort for them.

Elsewhere, with their huge recently built navy, they will act aggressive in the Indian Ocean. That again is suicidal mission for them, as Indian Ocean for them with inexperienced navy, is 4000km away and they have to pass thru Straits of Malacca with Indian Navy waiting for them at the western end.

Yet, if you want to act aggressive, they will act aggressive. They will increase arms supply free of cost to Pakistan, lease them a nuclear submarine etc.

‘Hence for India, it is important to build its economy to $10 trillion in next 7 years, increase defence expenditure two fold and increase surveillance level to prevent any surprises. ……. Cheers.

We have had multiple instances of "sticks n stones" skirmishes since 2020, plus photos of army troops in riot gear and lathi etc. Number of PLA shot = 0. Not sure who he is trying to fool.
Give the data of post 2020 skirmishes backed with photographic evidence.

Tawang one was not post 2020.

Depsang is a stalemate, PLA forces remain dug in 18 km inside our territory and they in no mood to retreat. Either we need to capture a strategic location just like we occupied kailash range and forced them to retreat. Time to plan and execute aggressive deployment as talks are leading to no where
I was listening to a monologue by Maj. Gaurav Arya and he had a different view. Given the recent attempts to create trouble in Uttarakhand and Himachal by the PLA, he was of the view that our Navy should harass Chinese merchant ships near Malacca. Not blow them out of the waters as that would create a war-like scenario, but harass them with aggressive maneuvers and block them in response to any aggressive moves on the LAC. Delay the ships enough to register delay at Chinese ports. That would ring the necessary alarm bells and put the PLA on backfoot for some time.

PLAN is huge but it can't move much in the IOR and BOB.

He said that the moment we start harassing their merchant ships and oil tankers in response to their Himalayan aggression, they will get the message. Despite their size, PLAN cannot do much against this.

I kinda agree with him here. Aggression needs to be responded to with aggression where we hold the upper hand.

Many of his predictions also came true about both porks and bats. Do people in places actually listen to what he says?

For this we should have a fleet of large Fishing Trawlers (just like China have in South China Sea to harass countries in the region).

Indian Navy being used for this will make things very complicated.

Ya'll Nibbiars

Army soldiers still carry melee weapons as required, but not just melee weapons. They have service rifles with them as well as needed. At the same time, it is true that shooting/escalating is allowed in case of provocation.

But generally, soldiers from both sides don't resort to guns at the first opportunity due to obvious reasons.

Will check with @mist_consecutive or @mokoman for confirmation.
Recent Tawang (Yangtse ridge) clash happened on 9th Dec 2022, using melee weapons similar to what we see in Galwan, only this time we were armed as well as the Chinese if not better. We thrashed & chased them so badly that Chinese soldiers had to open fire in retaliation so that Indian soldiers don't chase them down in their own territory.
