What I feel like is China is preparing for its much awaited Taiwan Reconquesta. And heavy troop deployment along Indian border is a precautionary measure, in case Indian Army tries to reciprocate PLAs East Ladakh misadventure.

Reports of Bhutan trying to switch sides or broker a deal with China are not true. Some random articles written by Chinese shills don't become ground truth.

Reality is, however, Bhutan tries to showcase, it is at the end of the month, is a client state of India. We literally supply it with everything it needs, plus unconditional aid whenever required. There are no direct trade/border connection between China & Bhutan, which makes it even more difficult for China to exert its influence, and there are no plans for them as well.

Go talk with Bhutanese people on the ground. They are living in a utopia protected and caressed by the gentle arms of mother India, and hence are unaware of the ground reality. But almost nobody is pro-China, in fact, Bhutanese folklore abhors Chinese influence.
