It was justified since the government of the time did zilch to counter Chinese incursions. Perhaps the BJP hoped to spark them into action. Totally different from acting like Chinese agents and making anti-government and anti-Army statements smack dab in the middle of a battle of perceptions, like the Congress is doing now.
Nah. Politicians talking about the army is never justified.

1975 soldier deaths .

In 2020, The Hindu and StratNews found the Army officer, Col. Baliram Shah, who went to take charge of the bodies. He says they were not simply shot to kill, they were also tortured.

The four Indian soldiers who were killed in Tulung La in 1975 — the last reported firing and combat deaths along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) until the incidents of this summer in Ladakh — were not likely killed in firing but captured alive and subsequently tortured to death, recalls a veteran who was tasked with recovering their bodies 45 years ago.

What troubled Col. Shah was why it took seven days for the Chinese to acknowledge what had happened. “When I saw the bodies, I knew immediately,” he said. “There were marks from cigarette burns all over, and at odd places, they had been punctured by bayonets. This was the only indication that at least some of them had been alive when they were captured, and not killed in firing. They must have tried their best to extract what they could, but what information could they give? They were soldiers.”

This was the de-classified US embassy Cable reporting the incident

Tulung La pass was clearly marked, PLA troops tried to unilaterally change the LAC on Oct 20 1975, upon which soldiers from 25th BTN AR tried to stop them. PLA troops fired on them ensuring casualties and later torture.

I saw some other reports in Chinese media doing RR about IAF deploying Rafale & Su-30MKI in the NE sector. Generally, Chinese media do not report anything on the Indian military, but if they are speaking about it, it means only one thing, that they will attack first, and blame it on us for aggression, the same thing that happened in 2020.

Bihar police has released an alert about a suspected Chinese national who is on a mission to attack Dalai Lama (who is right now in Bodh Gaya)

There are no reports of this "spy" trying to hurt/assasinate Dalai Lama, only that she was living for last two years in India.

No, you are referring to an old news here, this was the Chinese spy that was caught on October of this year who was living in India for past two years clandestinely.
