Looks like india stood its ground as it should.

I’m becoming increasingly concerned that India has fallen into the strategic Chinese trap though. The amount of focus the LAC now gets is huge and pretty much the main focus of all 3 services+ MHA. This means almost all CAPEX is going in that arena, the IN’s CAPEX is even being tied down to the land borders in the north. This is giving the Chinese exactly what they want.

India’s geography is perfect to dominate the IOR and Arabian Sea but this has never been exploited

i get that india has little choice other than to stand up to the Chinese where they are being challenged but it also depresses me that this is the game that the Chinese Want to play meanwhile their navy is expanding beyond belief. If India doesn’t re-focus on the IN/IOR within the next 5 years they may have already lost any chance of maintaining their position as the predominant power in the IOR
India dominates Indo - Pacific. More battle ships for PLAN does not mean they can dominate the oceans. There should be economic activity , trade and commerce for PLAN to stay relevant.

They do not have factories or activity in this region, nor they can have allies. They can use those ships as patrol boats with out any strategic advantage.

The belt and road initiative is a failure, so their dominance of oceans is also a failure.

There has been an uptick in fighter deployment at Shigatse.

Atleast 10 Su-27/J-11 are currently deployed there along with other unmanned assets.

If positioned within 150-200 kms of an intruding prop driven UAV, which is the case for CH and Wing loong series, the best anti UAV assets are Rudra and Prachanda.

Infact , Prachand has a dedicated role of interception of UAV and Rudra was used in such a role after Feb 26, 2019 and also on 2020 in Eastern Ladakh.

Currently, no drone in the world can carry out an A2A mission. MQ-9s have been proposed to carry Stingers and AIM-9s but never implemented.

Also, the interceptor has to be a fighter jet that can immediately reach the altitude of the bandit and intercept it before it reaches/crosses our boundaries, a drone (like MQ-9) cannot do that. In the future, we might have A2A drones with more power and speed.

They probably meant SAR imaging.

The rusty old Su-30MKIs have barely seen any combat. Let them grind their wheels.

Mil. hospital already present in Tawang.
:lehappy: what logic , lets just send our largest front line jet and grind it down for intercepting 1 or 2 drones.

those mki were for intercepting chinese fighter jets . what is the servicebility rate now for mki ?

Chinese have build some 300+ armed drones ,

will be funny if Chinese start spamming drones across LAC .

Seems like I missed the whole action

But for the last two years, people doubting our Army & GoI, and now we finally got some material. All the time I told you, believe in the army, don't swallow the black pill.

Next time, remember this. Don't go into a pathetic meltdown when things go bad. Hold on for the good times.
Chinese soldiers are weak-willed and cowards, believe it.

this is the kind of thing u hear at pdf , sinodefense.

pendulum has swung all the way to one side now . post things like this and when something bad happens , entire thread will go into melt down .

Mokoman always makes it sure that there is a proper representation of PLA in DFI.

He always takes 'Galwan Incident' as a parameter to measure China's braveness and strong-willness.

I don't believe that either... But man to man u have to give an edge to the Indian soldier. Chinese definately have better gear & protection at their disposal but an Indian soldier will always be bigger in stature & at a natural advantage. Such things always matter in hand to hand combat that we likely see at LAC.

So India defended against aggression. Will there be any reply from us? Or is it written in our constitution that initiative shall always rest with China? For the latter I guess non aggression Foreign policy shall be always guiding our actions. As long as any enemy of India holds initiative advantage & India if even for once slips, shall result in loss of territory. Chinese should face same salami slicing from us where we hold advantage now because in future China shall plug those holes anyway-given the new found wealth.

There is no more Chinese salami slicing taking place as of now.

I have noticed one thing that every pic of their airbase has 1 or atleast 2 awacs unlike ours obviously they have more in nos but it feels that their operability is used much more than us
I think they have developed a credible network centric warfare system which they are operating very frequently to enhance their capability

true as of now. But Chinese have shown patience. After 1987 also we were assured no more Chinese aggression - and we know that did not happen.
