I think one thing is being overlooked.

Xi Jinping and CCP are facing calls for direct step down due to their handling of zero covid policy. It's unprecedented. Now, interestingly, the protestors have taken the line of being nationalists with Chinese flags and all.

PLA, from whom the power flows into CCP and Xi, is most likely looking to score some points and unite their lightly rebelling countrymen and silencing them via pointing at bad ah-san attacking innocent bat boys. How can a nationalist Chinese call for ouster of the supreme bat at this hour?

That's the play, I think.

If Chinese media hypes this up like Galwan then probably this is the case.... Otherwise it may also be another random scuffle which got a bit more violent.

Kabhi there were 1000 soldiers then suddenly there were only 50-100 soldiers then suddenly there were 300-500 soldiers.

Then kabhi they were prepared with weapons then suddenly they were prepared with melee weapons and now no melee weapons involved.

Give these Experts whole 1 day to come up with one good story line.

press release from Army is very vague. open to everyone's interpretations.
