be it China , India , Ukraine , Russia - progapanda can only carry u only so far . sooner or later reality will hit u haaaaard.

is it really the case that this is being downplayed, if so there would have been only words and no action like it used to happen in previous governments.

the acquisitions, the infra spending, the geo political messaging, the actions being taken by GoI prove other wise. an individual has the luxury to look at things from a tactical level within a limited scope, the Indian state have to look at it from 30,000 feet as a compulsion.

During Kargil I was in Fatehgarh (Rajput and Sikh li regiment center) and public was in full support of the war no one was doing Randi Rona about peace even after news channels bordcasting war footage daily.
The current RR is recent phenomenon Which will disappear after war start and peace perchers will be lynched in middle of the road.

The timing is interesting, generally, patrols don't take place at night as temperatures plunge and it's hard to navigate the hilly terrain. It might well be another intended Chinese incursion or occupation like F4 Pangong Tso.

The fact that our soldiers are still clashing into December tells us that China is ready for an offensive.

publically yes , in 2020 , both sides downplayed what was happening at LAC . privately preparations for war along with talks.

i mean Chinese never named India specifically - only border problems with neighbouring country or something.
