PLA was dead meat in any case. They thought their fortunes may have changed when they last got a bloody nose in 1967. Not to mention their unceremonious retreat in 1962. This time they only found out that with modern logistics they may camp here but can not fight. Now looking for face savers as India has refused to disengage without the set objective of status Quo their military doctrine is betting on the Indian Army playing as a rational player.

Like I always say Pakistan is surviving because India is being rational. China has given the same authority to India which was easily avoidable. Let us see how they with spin it.
