a guy who used to work at DBO said their helicopters routinely cross the LAC . when we complain , they blame it on navigation equipment error.

We have no choice other than stressing our over stressed fighters due to low squadron strength
We have never faced PLAAF aggression like Taiwan or Japan

What's the big deal about it ? We do it to Pakistan, and Pakistan does it to us. Our pilots burn flight hours needlessly just to qualify for a monthly allowance, let it be burned on chasing Chinese jets.

Second, we need not scramble jets all the time, a robust AD system with good coverage can keep an eye on Chinese misadventure as well, reducing the required response time from IAF.
