Boss.. Sapne mat dekho.. even Diplomatic boycott which India has now announced is a big deal for the establishment.. MEA and Modi would have not slept the whole night before announcing this..
Also note: Jaishankar's unusual angry twitter reply on China Pakistan collaboration ( even nuclear being mentioned ) yesterday indicated that there has been some new breakdown in India -China diplomacy..

Makes sense,

* Badly beaten up PLA commander becoming the torch bearer for olympics.

* Pappu Gandhi making statements in Parliament.

Seems like coordinated efforts.

Deep down MEA GOI both know war is inevitable. China is gradually building up to take action in next 3-4 years. Peaceful unification with Taiwan is not happening. They can't handle two front pressure either. So before trying some sh** with Taiwan they will likely have some mini 1962 style conflict with us. They planned about 1962 similar way & planned for it before 2-3 years & they know our MEA babus & GOI won't go all out.. As they don't have the appetite to fight. They will offer a ceasefire & we will gladly accept it.
Something drastic would have to happen to reverse the trend.
I just hope our planners have considered every possibility by now.

I find the Chinese diplomatic mentality extremely childish. There is no honor among them, and they stoop to any level, completely devoid of manners and class.

Keep border conflicts at their place, and keep a global event like the Olympics isolated from your rivalries and bitterness.

If what u r saying is true then the right time for clash is right now bcoz after 3-4 years China will be much bigger power than now we can give them a bolt and shut the topic for few years and work behind on weaknesses of China so that we both can stay away from conflict

If they really want to invade India in a few years, why would they alert the GoI by sending it's troops across the boarder before the actual invasion.

They literally gave India a reason to move their troops to the forward locations , ramp up infrastructure development & stockpile weapons for all eventuality. Are they giving us an invitation card ? That they will invade. I don't think so.

It is a trend with China.. After 1962 they had psychological impact on Indian establishment. Sikkim was their next target as part of their Finger theory. But the bloody nose in 1967 shattered their plans & Sikkim became Indian state in 1971. They were silent after that for almost 2 decades. Deng tried some sh** in 86-87 in Tawang & General Sunderji shocked entire China military & its establishment. They even invited that Indian General to China as they were so shocked/impressed by his tactics.
The only way China respects its enemy is by the way of fist. It's a well proven theory.

I think when they realized that India was in a desperate situation during the Pandemic, they thought it would be a better time to nudge the LoC & get a better negotiating position for themselves to settle the disputes.

They also thought India would shift it's interest from the high seas to the Himalayas. Just to protect it's borders & the Chinese trade router would be safer.

Obviously they failed.

I read through whole SM and MSM space today with a hope that someone will connect Pappu's utterances with recent Librandu push to start talks with Pakistan. We must make sure they do not cozy up with China is a strawman or a bait which BJP leaders must expose.
