How does China is existential threat to India. Didn't we had 45kt Nukes. Also no body is going to fight India's war. What we need from them is weapons , we have enough Soldier + reserve's+ backup. India could have taken care of Pakistan in 1980s when they were working on nuclear bomb, but our politician are pus*y and lacks future thinking. Modi may be an exception because there are a lot of things going on behind the doors . But the west will not give us weapons for free and definitely not TOT. USA is too dependent on China due to economy. European union nowadays has good relationship with China. Russia too will not do anything .What they will give us is few weapons , nothing more than that. But that would be of little concern as our weakest branch is airforce itself which needs a lot of plane's. And then we have internal front and some politicians who thinks we are spending too much on defence. First bhutan is still a separate country with it's own local laws and ruling system and it's under total influence of india we don't want any competition there.By other countries if we give little space to Americans their over the period of time they will develop significant support in bhutan.
