It doesn't seem to be 4kms but about 1km, Chinks think that LAC is westwards 4km deep while Indians think the LAC is eastwards 5-6kms deep, so saying that Indians went 4km inside LAC is like accepting Chinese map of LAC.

The location marked as under Indian control is east of Black top from where Chinese LAC perception passes. Chinks claimIndia has taken Reqin too.

Sadly, we can't pay them pension as China will raise it as a violation of XYZ convention.

Many Tibetans visit Tibet and officially recognizing their contribution and giving them pension benefits will not only put them in harms way, it will end up in a huge fiasco.

But IMO, we should grow a spine and at least pay them some form of subsistence allowance. They have done more for this country in return for safe sanctuary than a lot of 'Indian' ingrates.

India is getting pushed around in this border dispute. First there were Chinese encampments and patrols in Indian territory for months without any rebuke until the Galvan valley clash in which the PLA killed 20 Indian soldiers. That got India's attention. But what did India do besides go on an arms-buying spree and send more troops to the border? Not much apparently. India hasn't punched back, hasn't forced the PLA to retreat, and hasn't grabbed anything to use as leverage. Now we can see that for all their talk about negotiations they are still intent on nibbling away at Indian land. China continually pokes and prods along the LAC, looking for weak spots and building up its infrastructure where ever it can.

India's leaders are getting badly out-maneuvered. They're always in reaction mode, always waiting for the PLA to make the first move.

China's CCP leaders are playing a long con game with India. Their leaders and diplomats smile, talk about peaceful development and historical civilizations while the PLA is robbing India blind. The CCP is like the smooth-talking thief who distracts the cashier while their partner-in-crime robs the store. India needs to recognize the CCP's con-game and push back hard. The longer they delay, the harder it will be to undo China's gains.

Who is responsible for that historically entrenched approach in dealing with China? Given that India was in very bad position in 1962 but what after that ? What about the period between 1962 to 2014? Modi and the present govt was not there.
After 2014 what did Modi take over from MMS - shattred economy. Family Psychophansy , massive arms deal corruptions, massive deby and bank frauds, Congress signing an agreement with China on allowing PLA to grab land and prfiteering from India virtually bringing Indian manufacturing sector to a grinding halts. 2G, #g , Yes G and No G scams, Chidambaram's son bring Rupee value from 55 to 70 and making million out of it in Singapore, Robert Vadra becoming the largest land owner in the country.. Rajive Gandi Foundation, Jawahar La la Foundation and Indira Foundations assasing wealth...

And then you expect Modi to roar in Ladakh and clean shit of people like you ... with what strength can Modi roar .. his strength is you and me.. the two two jokers abusing him indirectly in the Forum..
