India should have worked in that line, I don't know what RAW is doing, but Pakistani Hindus should have been encouraged/helped to concentrate their population to strategic locations so that break and take scenarios would be more plausible.

A very immature and childish outlook you have.

War is not fought with sticks and stones.

You need a stable defence industrial base and competent technology centres.

Our boys are equipped with INSAS rifles and our R&D is done by OFB and ARDE.

Most of our under construction warships will begin to emerge around 2024.

The damage done to India from 2004 - 2014 when China underwent a 180* change in MIC and economic upheaval, is still hurting us. Essentially nothing was inducted or bought during that time.

During WW2 US was able to capitalise on their latent industrial strength to become the powerhouse it is postwar. We have nothing even close to that.

If the war started in June, 2020 we wouldn't even have the 5 Rafale that we do have right now to counter the 2 J20 China parked in Tibet.

Growth/manufacturing shift to India is ongoing. Last thing we want is for Vietnam or Taiwan to take it all.
Your assemesnt is everything will go great for India everything will go bad for china and pakistan.

For all you know China might end up becoming a superpower by 2026.

For all you know biden might win in 2020 and decide to fuck with us instead of china.

As I said we will not be the only ones preparing we might end up facing an even more stronger china in the future and decide to go into preparation mode again.

India currently has more than enough industrial capacity to launch major offensives against pakistan and limited offensives against china.

We were in an even worse position few decades back but we still won wars now we are in a comparatively good position.

You keep talking about supply chains but we are yet to see a major shift towards India Vietnam remains the top destination along with Cambodia thailand.

Japan is planning to move it's companies back to japan.

Trump wants the same:-

Your own claim are based on premature statements by companies but i feel we must only discuss about this after a few months hopefully by then it shall become clear just how much has India really benifitted from all this.

Your analogy of sticks and stones is so bad as if our army is running around naked.

We maintain overwhelming superiority against pakistan and a great amount of advantages against china in the Tibet region.

The only actual threat India faces is china pakistan is no threat.

We are more than capable to take on them especially after the govt opened it's things and our armed forces made purchases.

Su-30MKIs (our main fighter aircrafts) are having avionics compatibility issues
You will not wait till you can afford a Mercedes to go buy veggies from the market. If required you will walk it.

A war has to be fought with what you've got. On top of depleting squadron strengths what you are claiming is absolutely scandalous. If we have to write off 272 of our heavy jets- are we hoping the 5 Rafales, 57 Mirages and 69+45 Mig 29UPGs/Ks, 139 Jaguars & 125 Mig-21 Bis to win the war for us?

We inducted the Su-30K in 1997 & the MKI in 2002- if we haven't gotten our act together in all these years some heads should roll in IAF/babudom.

The only issue we seemed to be facing was of deployment infrastructure and war reserves all of which seemed sorted more or less by the govt in the last month.

We are not in the best position right now but i will say we have enough to make do.

Indian army has made it abundantly clear that they are ready to take on china and they are ready to call their bluff.

They have already made it clear that all they now require is the political will then why are people on this forum having any sorts of doubt.

GOI didn't want to be in this situation but were forced into it so they had to prepare now we are once again being presented with an opportunity to take back what is ours and establish our supremacy.

Now it all rests on GOI let it go like balakot or take the opportunity and end this threat once and for all.

Was there an actual scope for escalation in Balakot? if yes how do you think the scenario would have panned out ?

We don't want to make common Nepalis our enemies, it's the Nepali Communist govt which is the enemy of India and common Nepalis as well.
