Its not just Nepal. ISI is trying to open new fronts for India from all directions. Don't forget more than 90% of the Bangaldeshis now hate India. They are radicalized as hell.
Exactly people on this forum who are thinking of what's happening in nepal as a short term or knee-jerk effect are failing to see the systematic intolerance that is growing against Indians and Hindus in general.
Bangladesh hasn't started making big moves against India due to hasina but once she is gone people here will again be surprised on how this happened.
The problem is that both the people of nepal and bangladesh have failed to understand how generous India has been to them throughout their history.
Nepalis who come to India enjoy great access to our institutions and jobs alike while their govt enjoys huge amount of aid and development money from our govt.
All this has resulted in them taking us for granted and not being able to appreciate the help we have provided them with.
They have simply grown egoistic and now view such things as their rights and not something that was given to them on kindness.
India should and India has in fact in the past shown that it can stop it's generosity and cause problems if troubled too much.
Let them land on the ground and understand how good we have been to them all that time let them realize what they have lost and what more they can lose once that happens you will see things change real fast.
People here advocating for even stronger economic ties and more aid must understand that you are feeding a spoilt child he will continue to take everything but never appreciate it.
In case of nepal it's more like saanp ko dudh pilana.
