I've seen ot of different chinese weapons (copies) . whether they are tank shells,bvr's,planes artillery
etc.. They all have these huge fireballs. Not many other countries have these pics for their weapons.
Makes me think they are very crude or defective??

The barrel's of most of the chinese artillery's and tank's are designed for high power , but has resulted in low shelf's life's and much higher rough and tear's which later affecte's their performance's .

Why do all their equipment look like they've rolled from the factory and directly came to exercise? For the terrain, it's not even dusty .

May be daily cleaning and specially for the propaganda film's .

Brings back memories of my trip to Sang La in 1995--in my Fiat1100. The first telephone was installed in that area at that time. Sukh Ram ( the thief ) had come over in a chopper. The Baspa at Sang La was pristine. We were the only tourists--nobody had seen one in that area, except truckers and military/itbp.
The population of Karcham ( village at the bottom where Baspa meets Sutlej ) was 240!!!
ITBP had a mule train going from Rakcham, if I remember right. The border was 30-40 km away.
The NJPC ( Nathpa Jhakri ) was being constructed--blasting everywhere
Karcham, Rakcham, Sang La, Rekong Peo, the eternal search for the real Kinnerr Kailash ( at least 4 different ones were pointed out by the locals )

This type of high powered barrel's also affects the health of the crew operating such kind of equipment , a recent study by an PLA University Hospital , concluded that the use of such smoke could seriously affect the crew of the artillery and could potentially cause many health effects and I'll health's .

They , literally have unlimited budget's for the War Exercise's .

A major problem for the chinese is the chemical composition used in the fuel , as they lack the exposure to the many new development's around the world , still stuck in the Soviet era's technology for the fuel and they literally like the high power weapons even if it's not needed .

Most of the barrel's of the PLAGF are based or reversed engineered or even brought from the blue printe's from the Ukranian supplier's , still stuck in the Soviet Era's , their's barrel's are .

The barrels of the Type 96 all variant's and even the Type 99 A are based on the T 80's barrel design from the Ukraine even the Type 15's barrel is of old design not new , and accourding to some report's the Type 15's barrel has some mettarugical problem's due to the high power's and could develop some minor cracked's easily after the constant heavy ues's .

That's is probably the TY 90's Air to ground missile's also used in the Z 10's .

I am no fire arms expert but to my untrained eyes feels like whole ass of jet is on fire and engine have flamed out.. also why so much smoke.. that points to inefficient burning ... compare that to astra below, hardly any smoke and whole tail is like in a straight line...

The TY 90s has many variant , from Air to ground , Air to air , ground to air , ship to air used in the missile's PD's on the ship's .

It's not probably because of lack of techinal knowhow, rather by design to make more cheap A2G rockets.
