Glad to see ITBP being strengthened and supported that way, its role and importance is bound to increase with the evolving nature of the LAC. It should also now be brought under Army control, and it should be reverted to its earlier nature of only having local recruits.

just 50 odd kms away in aksai hind the plain plateau starts which means our supply lines will be stretched too thin over the mountains and our air force which can take care of our land forces in mountainous terrain will be exposed to dozen of chini copies of S300 PMUs....

Its this 20-30 km mountainous area we can make move and I am sure u must have heard about Indian expansion in past couple of days.. sm are on other side of Lac providing us good buffers.
