Come summer the Chinese will look to engage Indian troops with long range firepower to overpower our defences, post which they will send human waves to occupy territory, similar to 1962. Idk what solution we have to counter the firepower but we must have the ability to engage Chinese troops in contact warfare inside their territory. PLA knows they cannot win in contact warfare with us. Also the outcome of contact warfare with the Indian Army is going to be devastating for the PLA, as we have seen in Galwan, where necks were snapped. https://swarajyamag.com/news-brief/...chinese-pla-troops-after-their-co-fell-report

That would be the last mistake Xi would ever make.

Nope it will be the first among many "mistakes".
Anything they do, the response over here is to bunker down and dhoti shiver, fearing further escalation, sanctions, 0.5 element gandmasti and only God knows what else..

Then again I guess that's all a poor country can do when faced with a "superpower" with the other Superpower busy with regime change events versus the popularly elected Government of said poor country.

Fuck this cursed timeline.

Utrrakhand disaster: More than 100 labourers feared dead at Barage and 50 plus in tunnel lost their life as per the site incharge of TAPOVAN NTPC work site. 3 Bridges at Reni village including 1 big bride of BRO. 2 Dead bodies recovered at Tapovan NTPC site. At least 150 missing

Look like bridges connecting the border areas mainly damaged and washed away by flood.

Any chance of Sabotage as the disaster location is near to chinese border. Chinese misadventure should not be ruled out.

Interesting thought but such sabotage will either require DEW or explosives. To fire enough energy DEW from space or their space to melt a glacier will take like a nuclear-reactor equivalent power running for 6 months.

And explosives/weapons can only be delivered using missiles at such stand-off range.

TLDR: Not a sabotage.

Appreciating the rationality in this answer, I request you to please compare the possibility of this sabotage with something that a few in India claims to have done against pak in the Siachin Glaciars - There was an article that Indian had used KALI (older version) to create an avalanche to destroy a pak post, many years back.

How far is Kailash Mansarovar from where a natural disaster took place today in Uttarakhand. And if I am not wrong, chinks were installing some nuclear site near Mansarovar lake and at that time everyone felt that they were trying to hurt Hindu's sentiments.
The two things may not have any relation or the latter might not be true.

India has transgressed LAC more often than China: V.K. Singh
India has transgressed more times than China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), but the government does not announce it, Union Minister of State for State Transport and Highways V. K. Singh said on Sunday.

Speaking to the media in Madurai, the former Army chief said the border with China has never been demarcated.

China had transgressed many times over the years with its own perception of the LAC. “Similarly, none of you come to know how many times we have transgressed as per our perception. Chinese media does not cover it,” Gen. (retd) Singh said.

“Let me assure you, if China has transgressed 10 times, we must have done it at least 50 times,” he added.

Beijing move a subtle sign of glaring military weak spot

"Integrating the two will more efficiently cover all types of targets, and the more installations there are in the joint system, the stronger and resilient the system will be," Chinese military aviation expert Fu Qianshao told the paper.

The dullness of the words, however, may mask a striking admission of one of China's military weak spots.
..

Despite China's – on paper at least – superiority over India, that dispute has not been going all Beijing's way.

In India, some China watchers have said the move is recognition that the PLA's performance on the frontier has been "below par" and that the troops stationed there are a "not a professional force".
,...

"China's is political and not a professional force, and the personnel are mostly conscripts with low levels of education and low motivation.

"They lack a tough mindset and battlefield experience, and face a serious problem of 'brain drain'".

Chinese will start ranting after this article. I think it's already said and known before. Why write an article again?
