The fingers numbered so covers the grey area incoperating both Indian and Chinese (disputed) perception of the border. The areas or fingers beyond them are not contested.

China’s range of woes (Economy related)

Maintaining the pace is going to be difficult in a pandemic-hit world. China is in a major food crisis as floods hit farmlands, pushing the second-largest wheat producer in the world to import heavily. Domestic soya prices doubled 30 per cent despite release of inventories. China cannot feed itself, and imports of US corn are at its highest since 2014.
Reports also point to 80 million jobless post pandemic even as another 8.7 million joined the ranks of job seekers this year. Experts note an even more serious development. Large banks such as China Construction Bank and the Bank of China have posted the biggest profit drops in a decade. Official figures put the drop in GDP at 6.8 per cent, with the actual figures likely to be higher, despite, or because of, the $559 billion revival package.
Heavy government borrowing has led to Standard & Poor estimating a rise in debt to GDP ratio to 273 per cent. Corporate debt, in particular, is massive, causing a closed loop of bad loans and bank stress. Additionally, data indicates delay in Belt and Road (BRI) projects due to the pandemic, including in Pakistan; cancellation of mega projects such as the $10 billion refinery by Saudi Arabia; and the declared thrust to ‘decouple’ from China by major powers.

It's not that ez.

Their entire banking sector is state controlled, you can expect magical low interest loans being given, and even moratorium on loan payments.

Their industry has a very strong state owned component, these companies are competent and compete with MNCs in most fields, they employ a good percentage of chings directly and indirectly

Cheeni sarkar will boost it's spending, again on these state owned corps so that cheeni employees can keep their jobs, and cheeni suppliers to these companies get big contracts.

Controlled media that only sings praises of the Chinese economy.

GDP artificially boosted primarily by unnecessary construction projects and infrastructure projects

TL;DR this is a country that is built on jhol and is sustained by the greed of Goras who are dazzled by this jhol growth and market

Their myth of invincibility will persist for some 10 more years easily.

The Chinese project was built by, and continues to be sustained by, the Globalists, even though it is a mad dog that goes against global stability and practically all it's neighboring countries.
Perhaps that was the objective all along.

👍 to that. The draft for exemption to defence projects was in preparatory stage as of July 2020. No updates thereafter.
First let them apply the and stop sand mining, timber smuggling and quarrying and pretty much every type of destruction before making the strategic security interests as environmentally unfriendly.

True. But both ain't mutually exclusive
Environment is always a balance and tradeoff....one needs to pick priority to maximize any damage to rewards. To me strategic projects like roads to border especially with neighbors like China and Pak win over profit and actually cause less destruction atleast directly as most of them are handled by BRO.

My respect for Shri Jaishankar ji increased many fold.

I saw a video of this Pic, he dont want to stand in front of Tiranga to block it. He has respect for our national flag.

Pakka Nationalist guy. Now i know why Modi selected him. MEA is in good hand.

They get paid to look the otherway in terms of sand mining, timber, quarrying etc.
They also get paid to put hurdles in defense and other critical construction in the name of environment.

The guys who keep shtting on babus/bureaucrats are right, these "administration" snakes need a purge, along with those termite NGOs.

Jaichands, dhimmis, Macaulayputras are much more dangerous than ChinPak
