Ya'll Nibbiars

The nearest town from Spanggur Tso area accessible to CCP thugs is Ngari Kunsha, which is 262KM. access to G219 highway need 50KM travel of mountain road. There is no way CCP thugs can survive even for 2 days. Supply route is in direct fire range from Reqing la post.

X708 route which is the only connecting road from Spanggur Tso to G219 HW, is actually 159KM, does not have Gas station on entire 159KM stretch of mountain road. CCP simply cannot sustain in this area for long. All that india needs to do is to time the CCP out.

Btw.. Depsang news slowly coming out. India TV & other news outlets now reporting about presence of Chinese Mechanized infantry division & motorized division in Depsang plains.
Hopefully some re adjustments happen there as well.

Winter is the best time to attack the Chinkies and kick their asses off from the bases and permanently fortify there..

We have advantage of fighting in mountains as well as in harsh winters.
Chinkies have never done that in their history & fighting in that harsh terrain can be daunting to even the most battle hardened soldiers..

lol @ anything flying in that winter & at that altitude.
More crashes would happen because of the harsh environment than anything enemy does.

Once the battle starts, I would bet it would be man power that would decide the winner than the machines..
What is the latitude of Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Manchuria, Chinese Siberia? What the temperature of those areas ?? Does PLA live there?
Cold is not the problem of the Chinese but Indians.
The Chinese problem is high altitude and their practice of keeping soldiers in oxygen chambers... and the more the snow the less is the oxygen .... Chinese have been bitten by the development bug... my only son virus...

Chinese mothers are going to be very very annoyed...

Why only Moldo ?

India is in a position to blow up all camps from Finger 5 to 8, Srijap, Gogra, Kongkha, Hot Spring, Galwan and Chinese positions in Depsang, Demchok and Chumur.

If need be Indians are in a position to blow off all Chinese camps and installation inside Chumbi valley.

Why restrict to Moldo. This type of opportunity does not arise every time..
actually not doing so is derliction of duty IMO.

If you know there will be a reaction, then our aim should be to neutralize the reaction as well instead of being willing to sacrifice the soldiers in Depsang as collateral damage.

By the time it comes out, world will be 5 generations ahead. Govt just need to force these service companies to invest in R&D with a tax regime that is geared towards domestic market share and R&D. Most OS and other things come out of Univ's, so challenge the advanced institutes and make thesis mandatory addressing a practical problem that country needs to solve.
Its already been deployed.

Its a remix of debian, a free linux desktop.

Chinese also doing same thing.

:hmm: They also have a custom version for their military.

They cant breathe inside oxygenated tents ? And they came all the way to fight the Indian army ? Come winter, maybe the weather itself will defeat the Chinese army.
Well oxygenated tents are in base camps.

None on peaks or at posts around camps. PLA is trying to man these peaks and posts and facing the hard cold fact.

Soon they will start hiding inside the camps and the leopards will start prowling outside the camps and cutting off the fuel/power lines for these camps.

Ya'll Nibbiars The proposed India-China Corps Commanders meeting is likely in the next 48 to 72 hours depending on mutual convenience. Agenda is not known but one view is China will insist on discussing the faceoff in Chushul sector first which will obviously be not acceptable to India.

India’s single-point agenda is: Chinese initiated the faceoff, so they must start the process of returning troops to permanent locations. So, disengagement, then deescalation and finally deinduction of the massive deployment close to the LAC is what India will perhaps look for.

PLA on the other hand is right now more concerned about India’s counter-deployment on the Kailash range in the Chushul sector. So basically, no convergence between the two sides looks likely. Meanwhile, India’s Ambassador to China Vikram Misri is in Delhi for consultaions.

From what I read, it proved to be failure in both countries as they do not keep up and mostly just a compiled open source distros. I could be wrong....I hope it is as you said. Another difficult thing is hardware loopholes which is the reason why US is concerned about Chinese companies like Huawei
Russia seems to have their Elbrus chips with own OS for critical departments in other words mostly full stack

"It is India’s military resolve that offers the most potential for precipitating any kind of conflict mitigation"

Quotable quote from the following article by Arjun Subramaniam
Air Marshal Subramaniam seems to be suffering from Stockholm syndrome. The Chinese have gone back on their word and broken every written and tacit agreement with India reached since 1993 including the rapport that Modi worked hard to build with Xi. And Air Marshal Subramaniam wants Modi to reach another accord with Xi. Any peace with China is temporary. As has been pointed out in the article itself, it is China's stated goal to recover the 5 fingers of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Bhutan, Nepal and Ladakh. So any so called accord or peace deal with China will only postpone the inevitable Chinese attack/land grab for a time when they are stronger than today.

Needs confirmation, but if I recall correctly issue with DBO is not that it can be physically occupied by PLA, here the issue is that it is in line of sight and fire from PLA arty .
yes, thats the main issue and being the last post with only one road linking to the DBO, its deemed as defensive position from our side but not otherwise. Even Lt Gen PJS Pannu (R) speaks about the same in this interview
